Written and recorded in 60 minutes as part of a FAWM skirmish. Little spit and elbow grease, this song wouldn’t be half bad.

I hope that I get old before I die
I hope that I get old before I die
I really don’t like growing old
But dying young is worse, I’m told
I hope that I get old before I died
I hope that I become a wealthy man
I hope that I become a wealthy man
Money can’t buy love I hear
But being poor can’t either, dear
I hope that I become a wealthy man
I hope that I can be a man power
I hope that I can be a man power
Power corrupts, or so they say
Corruption’s got me me anyway
I hope that I can be a man of power

There is a spoken introduction to the song. Stick it out, the real win is when my wife does her solo part.
Lyrics:
What ‘chu want them balls for
Them balls for
Them balls for
What ‘chu want them balls for
The bring them back from work

I played this to my band Thumper and Smash, and told them that they each needed to come up with a verse of their own. Thumper wrote the second verse (Coffee/Whiskey). Smash wrote the political verse (Right Wingers/Commies), but I modified it to make it more offensive. And this is it.
I don’t remember doing this recording, but it’s different from the way I usually play it. Normally I’ll play a verse in the octave you hear in this recording, then I repeat the verse an octave higher. But, you get what you pay for.
By the way, neither Thumper nor Smash bears any responsibility for this recording. I did it by myself.
